... A world in which everybody’s feelings and opinions are valued,
and we are connected and nurturing to each other…
 
In the community of our Sociocratic School, “De Vrije Ruimte”
this is our daily reality.

Friends of De Vrije Ruimte is a Foundation created to provide financial support to

the Sociocratic school "De Vrije Ruimte," (Dutch for "Open Space") based in The Hague, The Netherlands.

​

Although approved and appreciated by the Dutch  authorities,

the school our Foundation benefits does not receive any subsidies or financial support 

besides parents' contribution.

​

Our goal is to create more financial room for the school, as well as raise more

awareness and community around the Sociocratic concept,

which is embraced and practiced by our school.

​

This initiative was started and is run by parents of children who attend De Vrije Ruimte.
